Overview
The Sylo Network is a decentralised communication infrastructure created by many independent users running Seeker Node software on their own computers and servers. By running a Seeker Node and activating their Seeker, users earn Sylo Tokens (SYLO) in exchange for their device providing communication services to the network.
Together, Seeker Nodes provide an unstoppable services layer, free from centralised control and influence - and without 'big brother'.
These docs are here to provide a better understanding of the Sylo Network. They outline our long-term vision for the network, and explain the technologies that power it.
Some of these technologies, including probabilistic micropayments, staking, and incentivised event relay, will be released as part of our phase 2 network incentivisation. Other technologies described here, such as economic incentives for node performance, are coming in phase 3.
