Creators are required to create their 3D models in their modeling software of choice, and then export their creations to one of the many supported 3D formats. The Resource Creation Guidelines is a comprehensive guide to creating 3D models that are optimised to work with UBF and provide maximum compatibility with the widest range of features to create truly interoperable assets.Ensuring compliance with the guidelines set out will minimise issues when creating blueprints in the next step. This step is a large majority of the effort required in the full process.
UBF Studio is a standalone application where creators can create instruction sets (blueprints) through a visual scripting manner, that will use the exported resources from the above.Blueprints can be previewed using the UBF Previewer application. For more detailed information on UBF Studio and the UBF Previewer, see UBF Studio and UBF Projects.
