Sylo Token

The Sylo Token is at the core of the Sylo Ecosystem. It is a utility token, that is used to remunerate the essential costs of running a Sylo Node - human time, hardware resources and electricity. The Sylo Token’s unique 'layer two' (off-blockchain) probabilistic micro-payment system makes this possible.

Sylo Tokens are also used to measure an individuals' level of participation in the Sylo Network. The amount of Sylo Token that a node has staked determines how much work it is responsible for completing, and as a result, how much that node can earn.

The Sylo Token’s utility does not stop at infrastructure. The native currency within the Sylo Ecosystem, the Sylo Token is used for payments between users, Smart Wallet upgrades, add-ons, in dApp payments, and purchases in the real world.
